The Jersey Giant is a rare breed of poultry.
They are a large breed.
The cock can weigh anything from 6kg up to 13lbs; the hen weighs between 5kg and 11lbs.
Jersey Giants are a slow growing bird and come in a variety of colours - black, blue splash, blue laced and white.
They lay extra large brown to dark brown eggs, and lay fairly well for a large breed.
A very friendly breed and good with other pets and people. The cock is rarely aggressive.
